Introducing our new Peace in Action Toolkit

Creating a World of Love & Justice Beyond the Dance Circle

DUPNA is committed to serving our Dance circles, leaders, organizers, and dancers in a way that allows for deepened participation in this transformational time.

Our "Peace in Action Toolkit" will provide templates and materials for projects and activities that are being successfully implemented by members of our DUPNA family that promote peace and compassion directly on the ground in communities and which integrate the Dances in some way.

Like our Dance Organizer Toolkit which gives leaders and organizers tools to create flyers and tabling materials for their Dance events so that they don't have to "recreate the wheel," this new Toolkit will make it easier for an organizer or leader to act on their inspiration and implement a Peace in Action project from top to bottom so that we can increase the work of compassion and peace and promote mutual respect and understanding among diverse groups in our communities.

We are really proud of this project and excited to share it with you. Please contact Jen at naoffice@dancesofuniversalpeacena.org if you have a project to share.

Mandala Peace Project

We give thanks to Helga Schleeh from Montreal, Canada for sharing the materials for her Mandala Peace Project which is focused into a one day workshop that brings together children and adults from diverse communities to create a beautiful art mandala, sing and dance together, and connect and learn about one another's traditions to foster mutual respect and understanding. Visit Helga Schleeh at http://www.fullcirclemandala.org/
