DUPNA Media: Articles and Interviews

From time to time, articles and interviews are published about the Dances, its circles, events, and leaders in our North American region. In addition to exposing Dance activities to the public, these valuable pieces may serve to help other circles and event organizers present their Dances in the media. We present this archive in the form of links to those pieces. You may also find Press articles in the archives of our North American Newsletters.

For more resources related to promoting Dance circles and events, including resources for promoting your events in the media, see our extensive "Dance Organizer Toolkit."

Please note that DUPNA cannot guarantee accuracy or endorse the content you will find on websites outside of this DUPNA site. We provide these links only as a resource. Some of these links may expire; we cannot guarantee that each will work. If you discover an inactive or inappropriate link - or if you would like to add a Press article about the DUP, its circles, events or leaders - please contact our website manager.

Interviews

Listen to a discussion about the DUP on the internet blog radio show, Texas Conflict Coach, with Shivadam Adam Burke. Pattie, the show’s host, attended one Dance meeting prior to the interview, and her description of her experience may be helpful for those who have not yet attended the Dances. (approx. 30 minutes)

For Beyond 50's "Spirituality" talks, listen to an interview with Michael Sheehan from Portland, Oregon. He explains about the Dances of Universal Peace, a joyous, multi-cultural way to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. (approx. 20 minutes)
